Combine BerryTek and Impulse cranberry sorters to achieve multiple sorting levels, reduced labor, and improved pack out.

BerryTek and Impulse systems can be used as standalone units or in combination with each other, offering packers multiple levels of sorting. Using BerryTek and Impulse sorters together allows berries to be inspected three times for softness and twice for color in a single pass, significantly reducing the need for manual handling of the fruit. BerryTek is the only dual-view sorter that allows fresh market packers to see both sides of the berry simultaneously.

The Impulse Soft Sorter has been extensively tested with exceptional performance and feedback from our customers. We believe this system is the most technologically advanced, cost-effective sorting system on the market today, significantly reducing labor costs and increasing pack-out quality.

Touchscreen Console

Introduced in 2021, the new Line-Control Touchscreen allows the user to control all WECO-manufactured cleaning line equipment, from the blower to the color and soft sorters, as well as the inspection table.

Our new Sortivator machines require this new 19″ (48.3 cm) touchscreen along with our state-of-the-art software platform. Start, stop, line speed adjustments, and clean/dry-in-place functions are controlled from this central touchscreen. The new display also provides expanded real-time sorting data. Additionally, both LAN and WAN networking capabilities are included for future data collection and reporting.

Durability: The Impulse Soft Sorter is built with the durability that sets all WECO sorters apart. Users can minimize downtime by completely washing down the sorter in sequence – sensors are water and cleaner resistant and can be scrubbed with a standard brush.

Antimicrobial Technology: The Impulse Soft Sorter is manufactured with FDA-approved antimicrobial resin. Each dynamic sensor is individually molded with this antimicrobial resin, making our soft sorter the safest of its kind in the industry.
